Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Cretto Nero F by Alberto Burri. The price achieved of GBP 6,400.00 (€ 7,448.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacco E Rosso in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).
