This artwork by Alberto Burri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction, the work Catrame nero T sold for EUR 693,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacco E Rosso in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alberto Burri erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Catrame nero T für EUR 693.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Burri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sacco E Rosso im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.109.000,00 (€ 11.672.058,70).
