Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Bush by Albert Tucker was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 68,400.00 (€ 38,703.19). Admittedly, works by Albert Tucker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian intruder And Parrots in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 456,000.00 (€ 266,189.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Australian Bush von Albert Tucker wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 68.400,00 (€ 38.703,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Tucker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian intruder And Parrots im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 456.000,00 (€ 266.189,11).
