Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Roelofs could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art auction, the work Morgenzon: a sunny morning changed hands for EUR 1,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Roelofs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toekomstdromen in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 367,000.00 (€ 168,446.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Roelofs konnte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art wechselte die Arbeit Morgenzon: a sunny morning für EUR 1.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Roelofs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toekomstdromen im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 367.000,00 (€ 168.446,13).
