Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 33,850.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Roelofs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toekomstdromen in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 367,000.00 (€ 168,446.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In Den Tuin: In A Shady Corner of The Garden von Albert Roelofs kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 33.850,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Roelofs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toekomstdromen im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 367.000,00 (€ 168.446,13).
