The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Roelofs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toekomstdromen in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 367,000.00 (€ 168,446.13).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Roelofs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toekomstdromen im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 367.000,00 (€ 168.446,13).
