Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch A Portrait Of René Strauss In A Scouting Uniform by Albert Roelofs was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2008. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Roelofs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toekomstdromen in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 367,000.00 (€ 168,446.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch A Portrait Of René Strauss In A Scouting Uniform von Albert Roelofs kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Roelofs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toekomstdromen im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 367.000,00 (€ 168.446,13).
