The work Quest by Albert Irvin was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2020. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,026.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Irvin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study For Homerton, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).

Die Arbeit Quest von Albert Irvin kam im September 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.026,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study For Homerton beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16) versteigert wurde.
