Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alan Davie could be acquired at Phillips in London in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century to Now auction, the work Guessing Game changed hands for GBP 5,080.00 (€ 5,912.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goddess Of The Green in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,000.00 (€ 347,544.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Davie konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century to Now wechselte die Arbeit Guessing Game für GBP 5.080,00 (€ 5.912,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Davie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goddess Of The Green im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.000,00 (€ 347.544,02).
