This artwork by Alan Davie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Mystical Landscape, Dog and Spiral (Opus O.1084) sold for GBP 2,688.00 (€ 3,114.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goddess Of The Green in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,000.00 (€ 347,544.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Davie erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Mystical Landscape, Dog and Spiral (Opus O.1084) für GBP 2.688,00 (€ 3.114,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Davie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goddess Of The Green im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.000,00 (€ 347.544,02).
