Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, 2008 by Ahmet Ertug was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,519.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).
