Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Ahmed Alsoudani. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,626.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Alsoudani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdad I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 825,451.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ahmed Alsoudani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.626,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Alsoudani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdad I im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 825.451,23).
