In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included this untitled work by Ahmed Alsoudani. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 575.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Alsoudani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdad I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 825,451.23).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ahmed Alsoudani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 575,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Alsoudani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdad I im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 825.451,23).
