In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Ahmed Alsoudani. The result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Alsoudani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdad I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 825,451.23).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ahmed Alsoudani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Alsoudani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdad I im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 825.451,23).
