Upper estimate price exceeded by 83 %.
This artwork by Ahmad Sadali achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Modern Day Auction auction, the work Lelehan Emas Pada Bidang Keriput sold for HKD 403,200.00 (€ 48,749.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Sadali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ahmad Sadali erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Lelehan Emas Pada Bidang Keriput für HKD 403.200,00 (€ 48.749,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
