The work Skyline by Ahmad Sadali was worth HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 128,371.22) to a buyer in May this year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Ahmad Sadali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).

Die Arbeit Skyline von Ahmad Sadali war einem Käufer im Mai diesen Jahres HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 128.371,22) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
