Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Batang-Batang Merah Bata Dan Sisa-Sisa Emas (Brick-Red Blocks And Remnants Of Gold) by Ahmad Sadali was sold in the Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 37,772.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Sadali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Batang-Batang Merah Bata Dan Sisa-Sisa Emas (Brick-Red Blocks And Remnants Of Gold) von Ahmad Sadali wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 37.772,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
