Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Emas Dalam Bongkah Merah Berlatar Biru Submarine by Ahmad Sadali was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,504.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 48,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Sadali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Emas Dalam Bongkah Merah Berlatar Biru Submarine von Ahmad Sadali kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.504,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 28.000,00 – 48.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
