In the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction, the work Study Of A Standing Bearded Male Nude Seen From Behind, His Right Arm Extended sold for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 109,793.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Agostino Carracci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Olimpia Luna As Judith And Melchiorre Zoppio As Holofernes in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 869,000.00 (€ 643,703.70).
