This work of art by Agostino Carracci could be acquired at Il Ponte in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri auction, the work La crocifissione changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agostino Carracci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Olimpia Luna As Judith And Melchiorre Zoppio As Holofernes in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 869,000.00 (€ 643,703.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Agostino Carracci konnte im April 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri wechselte die Arbeit La crocifissione für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 550,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agostino Carracci erzielen.
