Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agostino Carracci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Olimpia Luna As Judith And Melchiorre Zoppio As Holofernes in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 869,000.00 (€ 643,703.70).
