Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Binatang Jalang by Agapetus A. Kristiandana was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,079.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lindunesia Raya, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Binatang Jalang von Agapetus A. Kristiandana kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.079,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10) versteigert wurde.
