In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Pulang Kerja by Agapetus A. Kristiandana. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,301.58), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lindunesia Raya, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pulang Kerja von Agapetus A. Kristiandana zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.301,58) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10) versteigert wurde.
