Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Absolutely Tired by Agapetus A. Kristiandana was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,772.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 240,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lindunesia Raya, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).

Die Arbeit Absolutely Tired von Agapetus A. Kristiandana wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.772,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10) versteigert wurde.
