Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Baik Boeroek Tanah Airkoe Joega (Good Or Bad, It'S Still My Homeland) by Agapetus A. Kristiandana. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,716.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work Lindunesia Raya was auctioned for HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baik Boeroek Tanah Airkoe Joega (Good Or Bad, It'S Still My Homeland) von Agapetus A. Kristiandana zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.716,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya für HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10) versteigert.
