Auction result well in line with expectations
The work There Is No Peace Without Forgiveness by Agapetus A. Kristiandana was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,777.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lindunesia Raya, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit There Is No Peace Without Forgiveness von Agapetus A. Kristiandana kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.777,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10) versteigert wurde.
