Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Afshin Pirhashemi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,755.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Afshin Pirhashemi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seduction in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 518,500.00 (€ 373,182.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Afshin Pirhashemi wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.755,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Afshin Pirhashemi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seduction im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 518.500,00 (€ 373.182,67).
