Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work No. 2 by Afshin Pirhashemi was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,621.45). Admittedly, works by Afshin Pirhashemi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seduction in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 518,500.00 (€ 373,182.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit No. 2 von Afshin Pirhashemi wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.621,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Afshin Pirhashemi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seduction im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 518.500,00 (€ 373.182,67).
