Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Heading towards New York by Afshin Pirhashemi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 158,500.00 (€ 113,644.51). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Afshin Pirhashemi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seduction, which sold at auction in October 2010 for USD 518,500.00 (€ 373,182.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Heading towards New York von Afshin Pirhashemi kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 158.500,00 (€ 113.644,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Afshin Pirhashemi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seduction beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für USD 518.500,00 (€ 373.182,67) versteigert wurde.
