Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scena Di Naufragio by Adrien Manglard was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,650.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrien Manglard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Mediterranean harbour with stevedores unloading their ships, figures selling fish in the foreground by a fortress, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 78,832.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scena Di Naufragio von Adrien Manglard kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.650,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrien Manglard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Mediterranean harbour with stevedores unloading their ships, figures selling fish in the foreground by a fortress beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 78.832,15) versteigert wurde.
