Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adrien Manglard could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work A Shipwreck In Stormy Seas changed hands for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,361.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrien Manglard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Mediterranean harbour with stevedores unloading their ships, figures selling fish in the foreground by a fortress, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 78,832.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrien Manglard konnte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings wechselte die Arbeit A Shipwreck In Stormy Seas für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.361,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
