Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work De baai van San Tropez, Zuid-Frankrijk: the bay of St Tropez by Arie Zwart for EUR 2,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Topographical Observations: Picture your world at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arie Zwart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit De baai van San Tropez, Zuid-Frankrijk: the bay of St Tropez von Arie Zwart für EUR 2.375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Topographical Observations: Picture your world bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arie Zwart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 5.640,00 versteigert wurde.
