Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding the cattle in summer by Arie Zwart was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,140.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Arie Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feeding the cattle in summer von Arie Zwart kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.140,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
