Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In the woods by Arie Zwart was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,375.00. Admittedly, works by Arie Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In the woods von Arie Zwart kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
