Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Dusk over a polder landscape in autumn by Arie Zwart. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Arie Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dusk over a polder landscape in autumn von Arie Zwart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of the inner harbour, Hoorn im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.640,00.
