This work without title by Adham Wanly was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2014. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 31,923.38), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adham Wanly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Kiss, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 146,500.00 (€ 110,133.81).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adham Wanly wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 31.923,38) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Adham Wanly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Kiss beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 146.500,00 (€ 110.133,81) versteigert wurde.
