Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptian cheveaux Hongrois Au Cirque (Hungarian Horse At The Circus) by Adham Wanly was sold in the Boundless: Dubai auction at Sothebys in Dubai in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,961.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 22,000.00 – 28,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adham Wanly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Kiss in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 146,500.00 (€ 110,133.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptian cheveaux Hongrois Au Cirque (Hungarian Horse At The Circus) von Adham Wanly wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Boundless: Dubai bei Sothebys in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.961,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 22.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adham Wanly auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Kiss im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 146.500,00 (€ 110.133,81).
