In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work An Estuary With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch, A Fortification, A Dutch Galley And A Dutch Merchant Ship by Adam Willaerts. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,875.00 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Willaerts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Embarkation of the Elector Palatine in the 'Prince Royal at Dover, 25 April 1613 in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 156,250.00.

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Estuary With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch, A Fortification, A Dutch Galley And A Dutch Merchant Ship von Adam Willaerts zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Willaerts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Embarkation of the Elector Palatine in the 'Prince Royal at Dover, 25 April 1613 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.250,00.
