Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Auction, which included the work Dutch vessels and fishermen on a rocky coast by Adam Willaerts. The price achieved of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,756.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Adam Willaerts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work The Embarkation of the Elector Palatine in the 'Prince Royal at Dover, 25 April 1613 was auctioned for EUR 156,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch vessels and fishermen on a rocky coast von Adam Willaerts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.756,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Adam Willaerts konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit The Embarkation of the Elector Palatine in the 'Prince Royal at Dover, 25 April 1613 für EUR 156.250,00 versteigert.
