Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Portrait of a young lady, bust-length, wearing a white dress and a pink shawl (illustrated); and Portrait of a child, full-length, clasping a ball by Adam Buck. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,870.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Adam Buck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Naval Officer holding his sword under his right arm, facing right in blue coat with black facings, yellow trousers, frilled cravat and black stock, powdered hair en queue in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 5,975.00 (€ 9,356.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young lady, bust-length, wearing a white dress and a pink shawl (illustrated); and Portrait of a child, full-length, clasping a ball von Adam Buck zur Versteigerung kam.
