Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reliëf met één en een kwart vierkant (Relief with One and a Quarter Square) by Ad Dekkers was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ad Dekkers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 108,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reliëf met één en een kwart vierkant (Relief with One and a Quarter Square) von Ad Dekkers wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 108.750,00.
