A top price for Ad Dekkers
In June 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks by Ad Dekkers. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 108,750.00 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks the most expensive artwork by Ad Dekkers that we have observed at auctions so far.
