Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Monticules, 1996 – Hills, 1996 by Abdallah Benanteur was sold in the Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. The price achieved of EUR 8,288.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdallah Benanteur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).

Die Arbeit Monticules, 1996 – Hills, 1996 von Abdallah Benanteur wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert.
