Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work L' Evocation Des Signes by Abdallah Benanteur. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,832.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abdallah Benanteur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L' Evocation Des Signes von Abdallah Benanteur zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.832,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48).
