Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Algerianles Juges I & Ii by Abdallah Benanteur. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,048.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdallah Benanteur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Algerianles Juges I & Ii von Abdallah Benanteur zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.048,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48) versteigert wurde.
