Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abdallah Benanteur could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work La Marche changed hands for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,063.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdallah Benanteur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdallah Benanteur konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit La Marche für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.063,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48).
