Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work LE RIVAGE by Abdallah Benanteur was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2015. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 22,111.54), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Abdallah Benanteur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit LE RIVAGE von Abdallah Benanteur wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 22.111,54) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48).
