Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II, which included the work Le Chant du Pré by Abdallah Benanteur. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,406.25). Admittedly, works by Abdallah Benanteur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Chant du Pré von Abdallah Benanteur zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.406,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48).
