Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Arc Light by Aaron Young. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,189.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arc Light von Aaron Young zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.189,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
