Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Aaron Garber-Maikovska was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,273.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Garber-Maikovska have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 156,250.00 (€ 133,890.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron Garber-Maikovska kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.273,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Garber-Maikovska auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.250,00 (€ 133.890,32).
